Name: Robert Settle

Company Name: Commercial Carolina

Current position/Industry Specialty: President / Office/ Investment.

Years in the industry: 30

Hometown: Johnson City, TN

Most satisfying part of your job: Being able to create and have meaningful input into the lives of people and organizations.

Last book you read or movie you’ve seen: Winners Travel/Clay Lowder, MD. – A folksy, motivational romp down memory lane written by a longtime friend. It touches on the wellness we create through a positive, ‘never quit’ attitude and the importance of being there for others.

Favorite vacation spot: ANY Beach…but especially Family Beach Week occurring every year on my Birthday…with the family…all 36 of them…on the Carolina Coast!

Favorite restaurant in Charlotte: EPIC Chophouse.

Hobbies/Interests: Travel, Skeet, Golf, All Outdoors, Biking, Panthers, being a “Foodie” that is always on a diet.

One thing on your bucket list: Develop a profitable, creative, mixed-use project.

If you could have lunch with anyone (living or dead) who would it be and why? Don Henley – He seems cool.

What you like best about CRCBR: It is the “Times Square” of Charlotte’s CRE fraternity. Eventually, you can meet anyone through CRCBR, as it is the epicenter of Charlotte’s CRE culture.

What else should we know about you: I just found my first four leaf clover EVER at age 53! Covid-19 notwithstanding, this should be a very lucky year!
