Avison Young – Chris Loyd, Chris Skibinski, and Tom Tropeano
Indus Realty Trust Inc. purchased Lightstone Logistics Center for $42 million. Neighboring the Charlotte airport, the 395,520-square-foot warehouse will be rebranded as Carolina Tradeport III. This acquisition pushes Indus’s Charlotte industrial portfolio to around 1 million square feet. Avison Young’s Chris Skibinski, Chris Loyd, and Tom Tropeano facilitated the deal between Lightstone and Indus.
Cushman & Wakefield – Jordan McCarley and Marc Robinson
This week, Nuveen Real Estate purchased Brookson Resident Flats in Huntersville for $72 million. The 296-unit apartment complex, built in 2017, was bought for over $243,000 per unit. Cushman & Wakefield’s Jordan McCarley and Marc Robinson represented the seller in the deal.
The Nichols Co. – John Hadley
Naples, Florida’s The Crust Pizza is coming to Charlotte. The family-owned and operated restaurant signed a deal to open a 6,200-square-foot eatery at ParkTowne Village sometime early next year. John Hadley with The Nichols Co. represented The Crust Pizza in the transaction.
