A former warehouse building in west Charlotte fully leased to Wray Ward is under new ownership.
Charlotte-based Abacus Capital, in a joint venture with Big Cypress Capital out of Naples, Florida, and San Francisco-based Stockbridge Capital Group, acquired the 38,300-square-foot building at 2317 Thrift Road for $17.3 million, according to Mecklenburg County real estate records.
The firms paid about $450 per square foot, certainly a watermark for west Charlotte commercial office space. Project developer LPA Urban, part of Lat Purser & Associates, sold the building.
