Congratulations to the following CRCBR members on their recent achievements:

Coldwell Banker Commercial MECA – Eric Clay, Rob Pressley, Zach Daniel, Bob Clay, and Sam Kline
Coldwell Banker Commercial MECA achieves “Elite” status and five of its brokers were honored at the recent Coldwell Banker Commercial Global Conference for outstanding achievement in 2017. CBC MECA achieved Top Ten status within Coldwell Banker Commercial Worldwide and was recognized as an Elite CBC Company for 2017. Eric Clay, Managing Partner in CBC MECA’s Gaston Office, personally achieved Platinum status and CBC MECA President, Rob Pressley, achieved Gold Status for 2017 production. Both were recognized in the Top 2% of all CBC Brokers Worldwide. Zach Daniel, a Senior Brokerage Associate for CBC MECA, also earned Bronze Level honors for his performance in 2017.Each of these professionals earned spots in the Coldwell Banker Commercial® (CBC) Circle of Distinction. This honor is bestowed upon the top ranking producers among all CBC-affiliated sales professionals based on their transaction revenue for the previous year.Eric Clay was also named Top CBC Sales Professional in North Carolina. In addition to these performance awards, Bob Clay, Partner in CBC MECA’s Gaston County office, was named Mentor of the Year and Sam Kline was named Protégé of the Year for the entire CBC network. Kline was also recognized as # 1 in the Emerging Broker Training Program (EBT) Class of 2017.

Beacon Partners
Inspired by recent initiatives to create and expand community spaces and art in South End, Beacon Partners has teamed up with local businesses and organizations to design two public projects near the historic Fowler Building. Since acquiring the building in 2015, Beacon has aimed to refurbish its surroundings with enhancements from local artists. Beacon introduced the first project, Fowler Porch, in April while the second project, South End Golden Grid, was installed July 6. Situated along the 3.5-mile Rail Trail at Bland Street Station, The Fowler Porch features a bright yellow seesaw, sculptural screens and handrails as well as seating areas for passengers to relax. The new space adds fun, engaging aspects for those traveling along the pathway. The project, funded by Beacon Partners, was spearheaded by local architect David Furman of Centro Cityworks with designs by local steel artist Ben Parrish of Steel Design Studios. Read more here.

Cushman & Wakefield and Trinity Partners – Charlie Ripple and Terry Brennan
Cushman & Wakefield announced that it has represented Dellner in the $4.6 million purchase of Shopton Ridge V, a 56,375-square-foot, industrial building located at 4016 Shutterfly Road in Charlotte, NC. Charlie Ripple of Cushman & Wakefield represented the buyer and Terry Brennan of Trinity Partners represented the seller. The buyer, Dellner, acquired the asset in shell condition for $82 per square foot.

Flagship Healthcare Properties
Flagship Healthcare Properties has made a new acquisition in the state of Georgia, acquiring for its private REIT portfolio the RiverStone Medical Campus (“RiverStone”) in Blue Ridge, 90 miles north of Atlanta. The Class A, ±75,000 square foot medical office building is located at 101 RiverStone Vista. RiverStone’s diverse tenants and services make the building a true multi-specialty regional medical complex. Fully leased, the multi-tenant property is anchored by Fannin Regional Hospital’s physicians group. Fannin Regional Hospital is owned by Quorum Health (NYSE: QHC). Additional tenants include Northside Hospital’s Georgia Cancer Specialists, Amedisys, and Blue Ridge Dermatology.

MPV Properties and Trinity Partners – Rebecca Herron, Mike Chatham, and William Maxwell
Metrolina Gymnastics has expanded its operation in Pineville, NC with their recent lease of 5,000 SF at 1038 Culp Road, Suite 200. The new space is located in South Charlotte off Westinghouse Boulevard on Culp Road. The company, owned by Charlottenative and NC Men’s Gymnastics Hall of Famer Nick Baker, has been in business since 2016. Metrolina Gymnastics was represented by Rebecca Herron and Mike Chatham of MPV Properties. The landlord, Randolph & Sons Development, LLC, was represented by William Maxwell of Trinity Partners.

Romans Properties – Chris Orr
Chris Orr of Romans Properties brokered and assisted an institutional client in the identification and acquisition of the following properties.

  •  $36,650,000- 1001 E. Campbell Road Richardson, Texas. This 75,119 SF facility is fully leased to Sungard AS
  • $8,970,000- 1612 Cross Beam Drive in Charlotte. This 18,068 SF facility is fully leased to Lumos Data Centers.
  • $5,000,000 -8180 Green Meadows Drive in Lewis Center, OH. This 57,000 SF facility is fully leased to Cyxtera
